In early October 2026, RusinDisplay supplied two 55-inch double-sided window-facing displays for the same Canadian customer, with one unit installed at Neptune Corner and the other at Neptune Palace Restaurant. The two locations use the displays to present menus, drink selections, daily specials, and promotional content to customers on both sides of their storefront windows.
The project used the new RUS-LCD-WFH55-D Window-Facing Hanging Display, combining a 3,000-nit outward-facing screen with a second inward-facing screen. The two sides can display different content independently, allowing the customer to communicate with people outside the restaurants and customers already inside the dining areas.

Making Better Use of Restaurant Window Space
Restaurant storefronts need to attract passing customers while keeping entrances and dining areas open and visible. Conventional floor-standing signage occupies valuable space near the entrance, while a standard indoor screen can become difficult to read through glass under strong ambient light.
For this project, the displays were suspended behind the storefront windows in portrait orientation. The hanging structure keeps the floor clear and places the content at a natural viewing height for people walking through the surrounding commercial areas.
At Neptune Corner, the screen presents colorful beverage promotions and drink menus near the entrance. At Neptune Palace Restaurant, it displays daily specials and food photography to shoppers passing through the mall corridor. The slim suspended installation makes the digital menus prominent without blocking the wider view into either restaurant.
Different Content for Customers Inside and Outside
Each unit contains two independently controlled screens.
The outward-facing high-brightness screen presents menu items, prices, limited-time promotions, and brand visuals to people outside the restaurant. Its higher brightness helps the content remain visible through storefront glass and under strong ambient lighting.
The inward-facing screen can show different content for customers inside the restaurant, such as additional menu categories, seasonal recommendations, ordering information, or brand messages.
Because the two sides operate independently, the same content does not need to be repeated on both screens. Each playlist can be arranged according to its audience, viewing distance, and purpose.
3,000-Nit Brightness for Storefront Visibility
The outward-facing screen has a standard brightness of 3,000 nits, with an adjustable range of 1,000–3,000 nits. This gives the customer enough brightness for demanding storefront conditions while allowing the output to be reduced when the surrounding light level is lower.
The inward-facing screen is rated at 700 nits, providing clear visibility for customers inside the restaurant without creating excessive brightness in the dining area.
The 55-inch displays provide 3840 × 2160 resolution, a 1200:1 contrast ratio, and wide 178° viewing angles. Menu text, prices, food photography, and promotional graphics can therefore remain visible as customers approach the storefront from different directions.
The display is designed for installation inside a building and positioned behind storefront glass. It is a window-facing commercial display rather than a weatherproof outdoor screen.
Android 14 and Remote Content Updates
Both displays run on Android 14 and include RusinDisplay’s standard remote content management software.
Authorized staff can update menus and promotional material remotely instead of visiting each screen with a USB drive. The system supports remote playlist updates, scheduled playback, timed power control, and device status management.
The two displays can be managed through the same platform while retaining separate playlists for each restaurant. This allows the customer to publish location-specific menus and promotions without visiting either display in person.

Installation and Project Delivery

RusinDisplay supplied the double-sided displays, metal enclosures, hanging components, and remote management software. Installation guidance was provided so that the customer’s local team could position and secure each unit according to the storefront structure.
Power and signal connections enter through the upper hanging area, helping reduce visible cabling around the screens. The displays and mounting components were also protected with reinforced export packaging for transportation to Canada.
RusinDisplay’s scope of supply included:
- Two double-sided LCD displays and metal enclosures
- Ceiling-hanging components
- Android 14 playback systems
- Installation guidance
- Protective packaging and international transportation
- Three-year product warranty
One Platform for Two Restaurant Locations
The installations at Neptune Corner and Neptune Palace Restaurant show how one customer can manage digital storefront communication across multiple locations.
The 3,000-nit outward-facing screens help attract passing customers with food images, menus, and current promotions. The inward-facing screens continue communicating with customers inside the restaurants, while independent playback allows every screen to serve a different purpose.
Remote management also makes routine content changes more practical. The customer can update prices, replace seasonal promotions, or schedule different playlists for the two restaurants through the same management platform.
The RUS-LCD-WFH Series is available in 43, 49, 55, 65, and 75-inch single-sided and double-sided configurations. The RUS-LCD-WFH55-D used in this project is a new model and has not yet been uploaded to the RusinDisplay website.
